Well I for one am very happy with the new Doctor!! I know poor Jess is gutted its not a woman (one day Jess I'm sure). But personally I think he will be a very good Doctor... if a little young. He has something about him that reminds me of David Tennant a bit so the transission shouldn't be too traumatic. I enjoyed him in the Ruby in the Smoke with Billy Piper but hopefully he won't have quite such a thick Cockney accent as the Doctor.
I just hope that the storylines leading up the regeneration are good. I was pretty disappointed in the Chirstmas episode. It started really well but ended up terribly silly at the end, it reminded me a bit of Wild Wild West.. really naff!!
So here is to Matt Smith the 11th Doctor Who... and "who" knows maybe the best yet (although John Pertwee will take some beating).

Im more than gutted and I cant even lust after this harry potter boy type thing new dr hes way too young, at least mr tennant was attractive not to mention hugely endowed (alledgely)....not a good day :(

I am quite drawn to mens packets I was delighted when athletes started wearing lycra.
I hope the Doctor will never be woman, or disabled, ethnic or anything but a caucasian male. I'm not racist or sexist or anything, but just cos he regenerates doesn't mean he can mutate!
I shall no doubt grow to love matt smith as i did with every other doctor (except sylvester mccoy who was abominable - and paul mcgann who i dont count as a doctor) Erm maybe i should have blogged this instead of a comment lol
